For Admins: Managing Your Team and Settings

4 min read

As an admin you make the workspace work for everyone else. You set up the people, the sites, and the configuration so inspectors and managers can do their jobs without friction. You can do almost everything in Flaggity — the main exceptions are the owner-only billing actions reserved for the Master Admin.

A typical setup and maintenance flow

  1. 1 Set up your facilities first — the physical sites that work and people are organized under. Everything else hangs off these.
  2. 2 Invite your team from the Team page and assign each person the role that matches their job, so access lines up with responsibility from day one.
  3. 3 Configure the company profile and the Language & Region defaults so reports and the interface reflect your business.
  4. 4 Keep an eye on plan limits as the team grows — seats and facilities are the ceilings you'll bump first.
  5. 5 Handle the ongoing housekeeping: onboarding new hires, adjusting roles when people change jobs, and keeping facilities current.

The three things you'll use most

  • Team — inviting people, assigning roles, tracking pending invitations.
  • Facilities — creating and maintaining your sites.
  • Settings — company profile, language & region, and reporting configuration.

How your work connects to everyone else

Your setup is what lets inspectors capture work against the right facility and managers see the right data. When you assign roles correctly, the platform's access controls do the rest — commercial data stays with the owner, quality functions stay with managers, the floor stays focused. You report up to the Master Admin on team and configuration, and you keep the day-to-day workspace clean so nobody else has to think about it.
